Spokanes' new slogan "Near Nature, Near Perfect" describes how good life is in Spokane and the North Idaho area. Its just the feeling that you're really in the wild when you head out into the nature areas. When you visit Spokane, you notice cleaner air, less traffic, and more open land. The city itself is just big enough to have most of the amenities of a big city, yet it is small enough to have almost a small town feel. With Spokane's near endless selection of outdoor activities, you'll be near to some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Dec. 26th, 2007 by Rob from Seattle “Overall the Davenport hotel had great service. The room was very beautiful, and well appointed. The restaurant service was good and the help in the gift shop, the valets, the town car service, the front desk, the doorman and the bellhop were all really great.”

April 30th, 2006 by John from Iowa "Clinkerdagger is an upscale restaurant in every way. Superb food and service. Great fresh seafood and choice stacks, as well as many other house dishes. Located on the Spokane river downtown in the old flour mill gives this place a very charming feel. Be sure to save room for a piece of their chocolate cake, it outrageously good. THE FINEST DINNING IN SPOKANE HANDS DOWN.”

June 22, 2006 by Paula from Tucson “ The Creek at Qualchan is easily the best value for the money of any course I have ever played. It is a public course but it is the most beautiful setting and the most interesting layout in the Spokane area. It is carved out of a beautiful woodland setting with elevated tees and fairways or greens on the other side of a huge gorge..."
